Senior D365 F&O Technical Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior D365 F&O Technical Consultant to join our growing team at our Mohali office. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in D365 Finance & Operations development, strong knowledge of X++, C#, and SQL, and a deep understanding of system integrations, performance optimization, and Microsoft's best practices. This role requires both technical expertise and business understanding to deliver efficient and scalable solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing modules.

Key Responsibilities

• ✓ Lead design, development, customization, and deployment of D365 Finance & Operations solutions
• ✓ Develop extensions and integrations using X++, C#, .NET, and Azure technologies
• ✓ Implement data integrations via OData/REST APIs, Business Events, DMF, and Azure Logic Apps
• ✓ Create custom reports using SSRS and Power BI analytics dashboards
• ✓ Work with Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and ALM processes
• ✓ Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions
• ✓ Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and maintain compliance
• ✓ Participate in full implementation lifecycle including design, testing, UAT, and deployment
• ✓ Provide technical mentorship to junior team members

Core Technical Skills

• ✓ Strong proficiency in X++, C#, and SQL with .NET familiarity
• ✓ In-depth understanding of D365 F&O architecture, data entities, and security framework
• ✓ Expertise in designing extensions and avoiding overlayering
• ✓ Proven data migration, transformation, and integration experience (DMF/APIs)
• ✓ Working knowledge of Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus)
• ✓ SSRS and Power BI development experience
• ✓ Azure DevOps and Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) proficiency
• ✓ Agile and Waterfall methodology knowledge

• ✓ Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging abilities
